Ultranet case study magnaquest

Company: Ultranet

Country: Mexico

Customer

Ultranet (earlier Ultravision) is a cable television and internet services operator. They started their dual-play services in Puebla and Veracruz and later expanded its services to over 17 cities across Mexico.

Challenge

Ultranet was looking for a robust solution that was both web-based and scalable for handling their expansion operations. They were also using a decentralized legacy system that required huge efforts for maintenance. They wanted a solution that catered to their analog and digital services and could support a rapidly growing subscriber base.

Solution

Magnaquest‘s Sure provided complete end to end centralized management of customer life cycle for Ultranet. With Sure’s flexible framework they were able to manage both cable and broadband services in a single system. Sure system supported the subscriber acquisition process ensuring seamless operations. It also took care of usability issues by providing the main operations portal and self-care portal in the Spanish language.

Benefit

Using Sure, Ultranet could easily integrate with multiple provisioning systems and speed up service activations. Subscribers could convert from analog to digital services smoothly without any service disruption at any point in time. They effectively reduced expenditure and conducted seamless operations across several cities.

Magnaquest solution has helped us to centralize the operations by replacing a disparate and obsolete system and brought greater flexibility in accommodating newer requirements, launching multiple services, and operations across multiple cities.
